Saturday was the best showing you guys have had all season!  From the start of the meet to the last guy in on the 4x400, I was totally impressed.  Everyone of you came to compete, run hard, and set personal bests. Just to recap a couple major performances

1. The 4x8 ran 8:27, moving them up to 6th overall in the state right now.  Pat 201, Jake 209, Spencer 206, and Isaac 211.  I want to see that team place top 6 at States and move on to New Englands!
2. The 4x4 ran 3:35, moving them up to 8th overall in the state.  Colt 53.5, Jase 52.4, Fin 53.3, and Isaac 55.  You guys ran with heart!  That was a great race.  Keep improving, I want you guys in the seeded section of the 4x4 at States!
3. Adam Pinchook scored in the 200 with a pr of 24.0, a week after getting his wisdom teeth removed!
4. Spencer Wallace pred in the 4x8 by 7 seconds and came back in the open 8 to run a solid 210 and scored 5th!
5. Jase Garner had the best long jump of both large and small schools with 20-1.
6. Colt Nichols had a pr of 1 full second in the 110 hurdles running 16.3 placing 3rd.
7. Isaac ran 4x8, 400, 200, and 4x400!  Toughest guy I know!
8. Pat Hook lead the baton into the first exchange with his 2:00.9, would have place him 2nd in the open 8.
9.  Noah, Ezra, and Brandon all had prs in the 1500.

This was a huge step in the right direction after a disappointing division meet.  Congrats!

This Wednesday is our Newport County Championships at home!  Let's make sure we take home that County Champs trophy!
